The Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads Area

With superb resorts, world-record holding beaches and free, live entertainment all summer long, Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads rank as one of the best vacation spots on the east coast.  Nearly half a million people living in the Virginia Beach area have also decided that it’s not only a great vacation area, but an excellent place to live.

Five thousand miles of shoreline in the Chesapeake Bay area makes it a fantastic place for nearly all water related sports and activities.  From stand-up paddle boarding to kayaking, you can't escape a great time here.  And even if you're not into water activities, there’s still plenty to do.  Try the Boardwalk Art Show, Neptune Festival, or watching the East Coast Surfing Championships for an escape from the ordinary.

As the first region in the United States, the Hampton Roads area also provides great opportunities to explore history.  Areas such as First Landing and Jamestown usually star on any historic tour list, but there’s so much more you’ll want to see.  There’s also Colonial National Historical Park, James River Plantations, and Colonial Williamsburg for those interested in our past.  Now, imagine living in this historic area, and everything you could experience whenever you chose.

And don’t neglect the Norfolk area.  Filled with history and great attractions, this is one city that has to be on your must see list.  Nauticus, with its USS Wisconsin exhibit, the Norfolk Botanical Gardens and Fort Norfolk are just a few examples of what can be found in Norfolk, VA.

Whether you’re looking to come here on vacation, or move here, we think you’ll come to love this area as much as we do.  Ask one of our real estate agents, or realtors to send you our listings, if you're considering a move.
